Lessons from the last session: Taking Flight
“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” — Semisonic
So my wonderful three-month journey with Amal Academy came to an end on the last day. These three months flew by so quickly that I didn’t notice the passage of time until the final session, when the results were remarkable. Yes, it was someone who introduced me to my true self (my best self). Although each session is equally important to me, the last one is more so because it encompassed the essence of my three-month journey to Amal Academy, which is all about positivity and seeing adversity as an opportunity, as well as saying and appreciating each and everyone efforts especially the efforts of my facilitators Sir Waqas and Ma'am Ayesha , they are the amazing people.
As it is said that “Develop a passion of learning, If you do, you will never cease to grow.”
I learned a bunch of concepts through the Amal Fellowship program , the most essential of which is “never stop learning,” which is a key component of a development mindset. Aside from that, I learned to manage time, which will be extremely useful in my future workplace (using a priority matrix, I am able to handle several tasks in a day), and I am now able to work in a team, which I showed in our mega project. The most essential thing I’ve learned is how to work smartly in order to achieve my objective. I have now better clear understanding of my goals and the WHY behind them. I am good at professional skills now. This fellowship holds an important place in my life.
The video that Sir Waqas played in the end flashed back all the moments from the fellowship, it was amazing. I am going to miss so much on the upcoming weekend. The ma'am Ayesha’s surprise in the video is something which I was not expecting, she recorded a video especially for us. I loved the video like she is always there to help me, whenever I did messaged to her, she replied with a detailed voice notes and messages which cleared all my doubts. The songs collection of Sir Waqas is tremendous and refreshing. The detailed feedbacks of sir Waqas helped me to improve my quality of work.

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to Amal Academy for providing us with this wonderful chance to gain life experience and become the greatest version of ourselves. Will never forget my Amal fellows, each and every one is so talented and they are amazing human beings.
