The Pomodoro Technique is a managing time technique that aims to provide the user with undivided focus and a sense of inspiration, allowing them to finish work faster and with less psychological weariness. The technique is straightforward. You divide your time into tiny increments for each job throughout the day and take breaks as needed. You work for 25 minutes and then take a five-minute rest. A “pomodoro,” named after the Italian word for tomato, is a 25-minute work time.

After reading and learning a lot about this technique in the course I decided to try it. I decided to complete my university assignment which is very lengthy. I opened up my book and start doing it by setting up an Alarm of 25 minutes. I cut down all my distractions while 5 minutes got wasted while doing this by attending a phone call and then I got immediately back to it then completed it. Then after this I had an glass of water and then again repeat the steps.

In this way I completed my work before deadline, and with the help of Pomodoro technique. I really like this technique and will definitely make a habit of using it for completing by work.

Some of the benefits of this technique which proofs to be very beneficial for me are:

  1. It makes me feel more valuable as time is one of the most important assets of everyone. You’ll fulfil deadlines, meet expectations, and keep your commitments as a consequence. This is beneficial not just to your business but also to your self-worth.
  2. It takes more than a snap of a finger to be productive. That is why, if you want to get more done in less time, you must plan your perfect week. And I’ve discovered that using the Pomodoro Technique makes it a lot simpler.
  3. In addition, the brain needs rest and recharging time. Allow your thoughts to wander in between task periods. You might also meditate, contemplate, or do something enjoyable in your office, such as viewing a humorous movie or exercising.
